Runtime Bio is a lifestyle brand in development, bringing curiosity, intentional rituals, and considered essentials into one evolving world. We care about what you make and how you live while making it.

Our work spans ideas and everyday practices, tools we are developing, and physical collections we are exploring. Each has its own purpose, and each deserves a clear account of what is known and what is still taking shape.

The work behind the brand

Our Research Lab shares case studies and project write-ups. The Journal is a place for essays and ideas. Together, they show the thinking behind what we make.

We automated the work. Then asked where the learning went.

Runtime Bio grew from a builder's observation: automating code production and review can also remove some of the practice through which we develop understanding.

Our response is not to reject AI. It is to design a better relationship with it: one that makes room for explanation, reflection, investigation, and ownership.

Builder wellness, in the workflow

We are exploring a system that connects source-grounded learning tools, intentional habits, and relevant briefings. Optional physical wellness products sit alongside that work, with separate evidence and product information.

Research-informed, not research-proven

Research on automation, learning, and working conditions informs our questions. It does not prove the effectiveness of our product. We intend to evaluate usefulness, understanding, and burden, and explain the limitations of what we measure.

Keep the mind in the loop

We want the experience to help builders ask better questions and understand the work they ship, rather than create another opaque score about them.
